MyChart Proxy
Proxy access lets parents and guardians view a patient's records. Proxy access can be given regardless of the patients MyChart status, for example patients MyChart may state: Active, Inactive, Active (Only proxy), Inactive (user deactivated) or etc. Here are several types of proxy access that can be granted for a patients MyChart account
MyChart Proxy Details
Child/Teen Proxy Access
Parent/guardian accessing Child/Teen: Parents/guardians of children aged 0 through 17 years old. The system will now automatically add the OCHIN MyChart Proxy-Child Access Class (0-11) for children who are 0-11 years of age and add the OCHIN MyChart Proxy-Teen Access Class (12-17) for children who are between the ages of 12-17.
Child-Read Only Proxy Access
Parent/guardian accessing Child-Read Only: grant the ability to assign proxy access to parent of a child 0-11 years of age in unique circumstances where the proxy should have read-only access without the ability to schedule, message, etc. on patient's behalf.
Adult Access Proxy
Adult Accessing Adult: Patients 18 years old and older have an Adult Accessing Adult proxy.
Diminished Capacity Proxy
Diminished Capacity: All patients can have a Diminished Capacity proxy assigned.
Foster Parent Proxy Access
Foster Parent accessing Child/Teen: Foster parent of children aged 0 through 17 years old. The system will now automatically add the OCHIN MyChart Proxy-Child Access Class (0-11) for children who are 0-11 years of age and add the OCHIN MyChart Proxy-Teen Access Class (12-17) for children who are between the ages of 12-17.
Foster Parent-Read Only Access
Foster Parent accessing child-Read Only: grant the ability to assign proxy access to foster parent of a child 0-11 years of age in unique circumstances where the proxy should have read-only access without the ability to schedule, message, etc. on patient's behalf.
