Kathleen Thompson, PA-C

Craig Davis, MD

Kathleen Thompson, PA-C grew up on the east coast then moved to Oregon to attend college. She received an associate's degree as a paralegal at Portland State University and worked for a Linn County Circuit Court judge for nine years. At the age of 40, Kathleen had a mid-life career change and decided to study to be a Physician Assistant. She completed pre-requisites at Oregon State University, was accepted into the Oregon Health Sciences University Physician Assistant (PA) program and graduated in 2000. Kathy worked in Family Practice Primary Care in Salem for 4 years, then worked in cardiology in Corvallis for 8 years. She moved to North Carolina in 2013 to do hospital medicine in a cardiovascular center but came back to Central Oregon to continue her original goal which was to practice family medicine in a remote area. In her spare time Kathy enjoys working with her horses, walking her dogs, and being outside as much as possible, especially if the sun is shining. Since she's always lived in the country, and is married to a farmer, she can be seen on a tractor, and that's fine with her!
